Double Feature: “New Twin” and “The High 5’s”
This episode features two bands from South East Alaskan communities whom we recorded at the South East Alaska State Fair in Haines in July 2019.
New Twin
“New Twin” is a fairly new band from Skagway, Alaska, who got together in 2018. The group combines visceral rock and roll punch with inventive song structures and sing along choruses. Natalie Healy (Drums), Lucas Heger (Guitar/Vocals), Sean Watson (Bass/Vocals) and Jake Watson (Vocals/Guitar)
The High 5’s
The 4 member band “The High 5’s” hailing from Juneau, Alaska. These guys are an all original Reggae band that has been together since 2015. “The High 5’s” are: Tim Ewing (Lead Vocals), Jacob Soboleff (Guitar and Backup Vocals), Marcus Beckmann (Bass) and Chris Gifford (Drums)
